NIGHT WORLD (1932), a kind of Universal Studios WONDER BAR, with George Raft as a dickish gambler with eyes for Mae Clarke, a sweet gamin from the chorus stuck on a callow lush. Meanwhile a louche manager keeps them rehearsing late so he can leer at the dancers' legs; Boris Karloff is the manager, with a wife who doesn't like him. Go figure. Busby B. did the musical numbers, kind of. And it's on Youtube, who knows for how long. And I'll tell you what, I aint seen it on TCM in a spell.
(REMOVED! DAMN)
